Statement

I studied Art at Ealing and Nottingham, but got sidetracked into the
BBC. I had a very creative career in sound there, recording Radio
Comedy and Drama programmes. However I always kept painting
and regularly exhibited with the BBC's and my local art group.

Now, after nearly thirty years, I have the time to paint much more
and am constantly inspired by my surroundings, which are the
Thames, near Oxford and the sea in West Cornwall.

I love watercolours and like to work quickly and loosely to catch
the ever changing river or light over the sea.
Recently I have been experimenting with mixed media and enjoy
taking more time with these paintings and indulging my love of
pattern and texture.

I hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as I enjoyed
making them!
